Props (Weapons)

Axe
An axe is a weapon that many horror films have used over the years such as this film, The Shining. One part of this film where the axe is being used, is when he is smashing through the door to get to his wife. This prop is very effective as it shows us as the audience and also the women in the situation FEAR. The axe is also used in the hallway scene, were the young boy sees the two twins laying dead in the hallway, From this scene you can see that there is blood all up the walls/ on the floor and you can also see that the axe covered in blood.

Knife
A knife is also a very common weapon that is used in many horror films. In the film, the shining, the knife is also used in the scene of the bathroom. However in this case the knife is being used as her defence, however the women does use it to keep her husband away.

  1. Good research on props but you really do not need to include the cast list in your research as it is not relevant
