Playtime Opening Scene (Old)

Plot:

Teen and kid 1+2 are friends 6 months before the murder. They play a game of golf at the park and when it’s the teen’s turn kid 1+2 go through his bag as a joke and finds the teens secret (images+writing). The teen catches the shocked kids and grabs hold of kid 2. In order for them to escape they fight of the teen and leave him injured on the ground.

Script:

[Title screen ‘six months ago’ fade out]

Kid 1: Watch this shot!

(kid 1 hits the ball)

[Mid shot of Kid 2 + Teen talking]

Kid 2: So what have you been up to in the holiday? [SR shot of convo]

Teen: Nothing much really, I don’t really see my family anymore.

[long shot of kid 1 walking]

Kid 1: Hey Seb it’s your turn.

Kid 2: I don’t fancy having a go right now, Philip can have my turn.

[Teen gets upto have a turn at golf]

Kid 2: I’m thirsty. I might go to the shop quickly to buy a drink.

Kid 1: See if Philip has a drink in his his bag first. I’m sure he won’t mind.

[Kid 2 goes through bag and looks shocked. Extreme CU]

Kid 2: David!... Come here!

Kid 1: What the hell is that?!

[Teen sees Kid 1 + 2 going through bag]

Teen: What do you think you are doing?! [Mid Shot]

[Teen grabs hold of kid 2 by throat. POV Shot]

Kid 1: Stop it! get off of him!

[Kid 1 uses golf club to choke teen]

Kid 1: Run!

[Teen is injured on the floor, kids run away. POV shot]

Teen: Your get your comeuppance, Playtime is over!

Plot:

A 17 year old teenage boy develops and illness and has a mental condition and plays in his local park by himself as he has no friends to go out with (isolation), He begins to start drawing aggressive and distorted images as his obsession with death gets worse. He begins to make a shortlist of who he plans to harm taking their address and watching the area where he then enters their apartment and murders his victims for no apparent reason.

20^th Century fox television was first founded 1904 in New York City by a Jewish Immigrant named William Fox. 20^th century fox productions are known by creating many films, for example the Simpsons movie, Alvin and the chipmunks, avatar etc. There have been many more films that they have produced other the years. This particular production company concentrates more on animation films.

Dreamwork

DreamWorks is also a production company that concentrates of animated films. At DreamWorks, they believe that all the animation that they put into the marketplace is as good as the talent within the company that creates it. Examples of the films that DreamWorks have created over the years would be films such as Bee movie, Madagascar, Shrek and also Wallace and Gromit. These are a couple of films that they have created, however there are many more

Paramount

Paramount Pictures Productions is an American Production company  which was founded in 1912. This production company is owned by Media Conglomerate Viacom, which is Americas oldest existing filming studio. Paramount pictures productions was founded by someone called Adolph Zukor. This production company have created many films other the years, example of a film that  they have created is the Italian Job.

Universal



The film production company Universal pictures was first founded in New York, April 30th 1912 by somebody called Carl Laemmle which was first known as Universal Film Manufacturing company. However in the same year, June 8th 1912, Universal Film Manufacture Company became Universal Pictures. This particular film production company is the oldest American Film studio that is still in continious production and is still being viewed worldwide. Universal Film production company have made many films over the years which include, fast and the furious, back to the future, jurrasic park etc.

Working Title


The film production company the Working Title are a British film company which is based in London (UK). The production company was first founded in 1983 by Tim Bevan and Sara Radcylffe, the fil company itself produces feature films and also itg produces serveral TV production. There maim HQ is located in London, however the working title productions can also be found in Ireland and also Los Angeles, California. The working title are known for creating films such as the film called "Paul" and also "Johnny English Reborn".

Warner Bros Pictures

Warner Bros Pictures is an American film production company who also produce televison entertainment. This particular production compnay was first founded 1918, which was known as Warner Bros Studios, however in 1923 they were then known as Warner Bros Pictures. The founders of Warner Bros Pictures were known as Jack, Harry, Albert and Sam Warner. This production company are known by making films such as Austin Powers, Pinocchio, Wrath of the Titans etc.

Film 4

Film 4 is a production company which is a free television channel that can be available in the United Kingdom. Film 4 productions were first launched on the November 1^st 1998, which was originally known as “FilmFour”, however became channel 4’s second channel. Film 4 did not originally focus on broadcasting blockbusters; however broadcasts now usually mainstream Hollywood movies. Film 4 usually has themed nights or seasons that are aimed one particular type of film (genre).  The types of films that film4 shows on TV are films such as the following: Independence Day, Seven Days to Noon, The Thief of Bagdad etc.

Helix Films

Helix Films was formed in 2008 by Gaukhar Noortas, Kevin Foo and Steven Charles Jaffe, who come up with the idea as a company to develop and produce feature motion pictures. One of the films that Helix films Production Company have been working on is Eddy Deco, which is also a 3D concept.

Extreme Long Shot

This type of camera shot is very effective, it is usually used at the beginning of films were it introduces scene/setting of the film. Extreme Long shots are usually used to show the audience were the film is going to be located and most often used to show the audience thrilling action. From this type of shot, there will not be that much specific information given away, however it does give the audience a general impression.

Long Shot

This type of shot is also a very effective shot if used correctly. When looking at a person for a long shot, usually their entire body is placed in the frame of the shot, with their head covering at the top of the frame, close to the top of the frame and the feet being close to the bottom of the frame. Although this shot is normally used to focus on something, such as a human, you can still see what is going on in the background.

Close up

With a close up shot, you do not really see much of the background itself, this type of shot normally concentrates on an individual’s face or a specific type of mise en scene. Whilst this time type of shot is aiming at the individual or props, the background is usually blurred out to make sure that the audience is concentrating on the correct object.

Extreme Close Up

With an extreme close up shot, you do not see any of the background, these types of shots mainly focuses on the eye (for example) of the human. The extreme close up type of shot is usually used to show dramatic effects. For this type of shot, you must have the tight focus required. This is because you have to take care when setting up and lighting the shot, if there is any error which could include shake of the camera, then the audience will notice this very quickly.

Over The Shoulder

The over the shoulder shot reveals one subject as seen from over the shoulder of another subject. It simulates a view of the subject as seen from the second person's eyes. This shot is often used in conversations between two individuals.
